1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Qyros Path LLC (“Qyros Path,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. If you use the App for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. License
Subject to these Terms and the rules of the platform from which you obtained the App, Qyros Path grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control for lawful authentication purposes.
3. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity;
- attempt to interfere with, compromise, or bypass the App's security or operation;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- redistribute, rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the App; or
- use the App to access an account without authorization.
4. Your security responsibilities
You are responsible for confirming that each account is added correctly, protecting your device, and keeping recovery codes or another backup method supplied by the relevant account provider. You should never share QR codes, authentication secrets, recovery codes, or current verification codes with anyone. Qyros Path cannot recover authentication secrets stored only on your device and is not responsible for account lockout caused by deletion, device loss, damage, reset, transfer, or failure to maintain a recovery method.
5. Third-party services
The App may generate codes for accounts offered by third parties. Those accounts and services are governed by their own terms and policies. Qyros Path is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for a third-party service merely because the App can generate a compatible code. We do not guarantee that every third-party service will remain compatible with the App.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Updates and availability
We may provide updates, modify features, suspend support, or discontinue the App. Some updates may be required for continued operation, security, or compatibility. We do not promise that the App will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system, QR code, or third-party service.
8. Ownership
The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, trademarks, and other content, is owned by Qyros Path or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or security. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qyros Path and its members, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of access, data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the App. Qyros Path's total liability for all claims relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the App during the 12 months before the claim or US $10. These limitations apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Applicable law may give you rights that cannot be limited by these Terms.
11. Termination
These Terms remain effective until terminated. You may terminate them by stopping use of and deleting the App. Your license ends automatically if you materially violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, will survive.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the App or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised Terms here and update the effective date. Your continued use of the App after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms to the extent permitted by law.
13. General terms
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and Qyros Path regarding the App, subject to any non-waivable platform terms or applicable law.
